The broadcast war of words has been as entertaining as the week 4 football with another feud hitting the airwaves.
Stephen A. Smith had never been one to shy away from a fight, but he told Dan le Batard, “I have never been at war … with Skip Bayless”.
Le Batard is a commentator war monger at the best of times and recently said Smith is trying to run Bayless off television.
Le Batard was at the top, or bottom of his game depending on how you look at it when he said, “I want to talk about the war at the top of this industry between Skip Bayless and his protégé. Stephen A. Smith wants to end Skip Bayless’ career.”
Smith is leaving Bayless in the dust in the ratings war and adding Shannon Sharpe has seen the show gain more popularity.
The FirstTake host took Sharpe away from Undisputed, at least that is what industry insiders are saying.
“(I’m) certainly I’m not necessarily talking about Dan Le Batard with this but, I tried to avoid it because you can see as clear as day that some people saying some asinine b*** just to get a reaction”.
Forget fiction, the real-life TV drama is even more fun.
