Miami Marlins owner Bruce Sherman and general manager Kim Ng were also seen on the field enjoying the moments.
The celebration was seen to be a little extravagant, and the team’s architect Ng found herself to be the center of the festivity.
Ng was behind Tanner Scott joining the Marlins, he was acquired as part of a trade with the Baltimore Orioles days before the start of the 2022 season.
He has now evolved into one of MLB’s top relief pitchers and Ng is one to be given with the credits and this has been fully shown in the ceremony.
Tanner Scott and other players were seen pouring a full bottle of beer over her head. Ng responded to this,
"Tanner is just relentless, That’s why I [expletive] love him."
Ng being the MLB’s first female general manager has built a strong team over the years with many players growing under her. She commented,
"Failure is not an option, That has really come full circle, and that’s where it needed to get to."
In her first two seasons, Ng has strategically well-balanced two opposing yet complementary tasks.
She tried to field a competitive roster but also prioritized improving the organization’s depth as a whole.
