Watch: Giants TE Darren Waller was not very happy, after team’s offense remained anemic in loss to Seahawks

The New York Giants have reportedly suffered another defeat, which came at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks dominated the game and came out victorious with a score of 24-3.

Giants tight end Darren Waller couldn’t explain the Giants’ offensive performance following Monday night’s loss to the Seahawks.

In the postgame locker room, Waller, who had three passes for 21 yards, spoke cautiously about how upsetting it had been to watch himself and his teammates perform that way.

According to Pro Football Talk, Waller mentioned, “I don’t ever take the field expecting to put a performance like that on display, on any team I’ve been on,”

“Offense is just not good enough in all facets. I don’t even have to really say — it’s just not good enough. . . . I see the talent, I see the guys we’ve got, I see the type of vision we had in the spring, the excitement we had on offense, and I just don’t know. I ain’t got a lot of words right now. Sorry.”

According to the NFL, head coach Brian Daboll regarding the loss said, “I’d be upset too if I was a fan,”

“There’s a lot of things we’ve got to do better, and that’s what we’ll try to do.”

Daniel Jones, the team’s quarterback, also said, “I mean obviously I didn’t play well enough,”

“It was unacceptable and I let the team down, so I’ve got to fix it. I’ve got to work hard to get it right and I’m going to do that.”

“My play wasn’t good enough. I know that, and that’s what I’m focused on,”

The New York Giants are currently 1-3 on the season, and in their four games, the team’s offense has only produced one strengthened half.

It was the second half against the Arizona Cardinals when they overcame a deficit to claim their lone victory. They need to quickly improve their offense because they are on the downward side of the rankings.
