In arguably the biggest surprise coming out of week 4 in the NFL the Texans humiliated the Steelers 30-6, a galling loss according Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin.
A win would have taken the Steelers to joint top of the AFC North division, but they sit second on a 2-2 record, trailing the Ravens.
The Texans improved their record to 2-2 I’m a tightly contested AFC South Division, with all four teams with an identical record.
Tomlin was on record saying the Steelers must get tougher.
“There were several things that were very disappointing about the game,” he said.
“Chief among them was that Houston was more physical than us and played harder than us. That’s something that’s got to change immediately.”
Immediately means a crucial game against divisional rivals the Ravens at home, with a win taking the Pittsburgh team to top spot.
The Texans next assignment is to the 2-2 Falcons.
Tomlin admitted, “the physicality component of it is something that has our attention”.
“Particularly as we prepare to get ready for the Baltimore Ravens game. Those of us who have been in this game, we understand what that’s about.”
The Steelers finished last season in third place with a 9-8 record trailing the Ravens who had a 10-7 outing last time out.
With the Browns and Bengals struggling this is the perfect time for one of these teams to take a firm grip of the AFC North.
