Deion Sanders recently shared an update on the return of Travis Hunter, a talented two-way player for the Colorado Buffaloes. Hunter has been sidelined due to a liver injury sustained during a game against Colorado State.
Deion Sanders provides update on return of Travis Hunter, but Colorado coach has his own timeline in mind.

Coach Sanders, prioritizing Hunter’s health and safety, believes that it would be best for him to remain off the field until the team reaches its bye-week.
However, Sanders acknowledges the difficulty of keeping someone as passionate and determined as Hunter from playing.
Adding to the challenge is the expected return of Hunter’s teammate, Shilo Sanders. These factors make it even more tempting for Hunter to push for an early return.
“Travis is doing well, he was out at practice today coaching his butt off, he’s one of the best coaches we have,” Sanders said Tuesday. Travis is, I say a week or two, let’s say two or three. It would be my dream and desire for him stay out until after the bye-week. But I know Travis, he’s gonna see Shilo (Sanders), you may see several starters of that secondary (returning).
“But I would love him to be out until the bye, that gives him three extra weeks.”
