Aaron Rodgers played only one snap for the Jets this season yet coming into week 5 he is still causing a stir in the broadcasting world.
Rodgers wore the number 8 jersey of the Jets for a fleeting moment and all the attention should be on up-and-coming New York quarterback Zach Wilson.
Instead Mike Greenberg spent an entire segment on Get Up talking to a framed Rodgers jersey.
He was called out by Dan Orlovksy who told Greenberg to get “some self-respect.”
Grandstanding to an injured player a month after his last snap is a little OTT, even though that QB is the Green Bay Packers Superbowl winning star.
Greenberg is a 27-year sports anchor veteran and had been in the industry long enough not to fawn over a framed jersey of a player yet to make his mark at the Jets.
The Jets are fresh off a nail-biting 23-20 loss to the Chiefs and the 1-3 side next face the Broncos in Denver.
