Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star quarterback, and his wife, Brittany, have stepped up their game with a remarkable $1.625 million contribution and a multi-year commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

This generous move follows Patrick’s recent restructured deal with the Chiefs.

As reported by NFL.com, Patrick Mahomes expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying that he’s really happy to work together with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

He wants kids who go to these clubs to get things like help with school and resources to do well in life.

Plus, the Super Bowl champion wants to give money to these clubs, because it will his way of giving back to the communities that have been important to him and his wife, Brittany.

“We are truly excited to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of America by investing in the future of children,” Mahomes said in the press release. “Kids who attend a Club, like Brittany once did, are provided with the necessary tools and resources to help this generation not only thrive but lead with compassion and purpose.”

Certainly, the $1.625 million contribution is set to ripple positive effects across communities.

Greater Kansas City, where Patrick has become a sports icon, and three cities in Texas — Lubbock, Tyler, and Whitehouse — will be the primary beneficiaries of this substantial gift.

In addition to the monumental financial contribution, the Mahomies Foundation, founded by Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, will be contributing $1,500 for every touchdown Patrick throws during the regular season.

To immortalize this partnership, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lubbock will be renaming one of their facilities in honor of the Mahomies.

This philanthropic touchdown comes on the heels of Patrick Mahomes securing the most lucrative deal in NFL history, a restructured contract that showers him with $210.6 million between 2023 and 2026.

The hefty sum, guaranteed over the next four years, not only cements Mahomes as the highest-paid player in the league.
