Former ESPN broadcaster Bomani Jones has always been on the controversial side this time engaging in some race baiting, a fire he has been stoking for more than a decade.
The provocative host of podcasts High Noon and a former panellist with Dan La Batard on Highly Questionable was in the hot seat last month for saying
NFL fans want Brock Purdy to be “awesome: because he’s white”.
Mr Irrelevant, famously the last 262nd draft pick of 2022 has been I’m great form over at the unbeaten 49ers and has created detractors for well, being white it seems.
Jones was not done there saying head coach Kyle Shanahan should be put in the naughty corner for thinking Purdy is better than Kaepernick.
There is no argument when it comes to performance as Purdy became the first NFL player to register a a lesser rating of higher than 95 in his first six starts going back to last season.
Purdy helped the San Francisco team to a 42-10 whipping against the Cowboys in week 5. This was the 49ers 14th straight regular season win.
The only other undefeated team this season are the Eagles, and the pair are set to meet on December 3rd.
Jones is showing everyone he has about as much prescience as a three-bean salad, short of three beans and his race baiting sure ain’t ‘Purdy’.
