Corey Seager is one of the most impressive hitters and with the Los Angeles Dodgers, he earned accolades. He was also the MVP recipient of both the National League Championship Series and the World Series.

Game 2 of the AL Division for the Texas Rangers against the Baltimore Orioles saw Seager make history.

The Orioles were defeated and the score was 11-8. Now he is with the Texas Rangers and with the Rangers, he has become the first player to conclude five walks in a postseason game.

In a playoff game, he took the walk five times. In 1,760 playoff games, no Major League player has ever accomplished it. According to ESPN Stats and Info, "Corey Seager is the 1st player in MLB history to walk 5 times in a playoff game."

According to MLB, the Rangers manager, Bruce Bochy, said, "A great job from him,"

"He’s not expanding [the zone]. … He’s getting on base. That’s what you"re trying to do: Get guys on base, put pressure on them."

Mitch Garver, his teammate also shared his thoughts and said, "He’s being really stubborn with pitches he likes to swing at,"

"We know he likes to swing the bat. I think it was his fifth at-bat and he chased a 2-0 heater that was above his eyes. So, I think at that point he kind of wanted to hit. Really, really impressive being able to set the stage like that."

The history creator also shared his thoughts on his historic moment and expressed, "I don’t think it was anything different,"

"I just think we were trying to grind out pitches, and it just kind of happened, you know?"
