Have you tried the “Schwarburger”? Phillies’ postseason exclusive is a must-have and all for a good cause

The Philadelphia Phillies are on a quest to secure their second consecutive National League pennant this postseason. As fans tune in to watch the Phillies face off against the Miami Marlins in the National League Wild Card Series, they can enjoy a special burger named after the Phillies’ powerful slugger, Kyle Schwarber.

The “SchwarBurger” is no ordinary burger; it’s a hearty 1/2 pound patty generously topped with smoked BBQ brisket, rich Cooper Sharp American cheese, crispy bacon, three tantalizing onion rings, and a zesty cherry pepper relish. All of this deliciousness is served on a soft brioche bun, and it comes with a price tag of $23.12. Not only is this burger a culinary delight, but it also carries a noble cause. A portion of the “SchwarBurger” sales will go towards Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes Fund, which provides support to first responders and their families.

Additionally, the Phillies have introduced a “Daycare Donut” with a vibrant red strawberry jam glaze and a delightful peanut butter drizzle. This sweet treat is a nod to Phillies players Brandon Marsh and Bryson Stott, affectionately known as “The Daycare” due to their youthful presence on the team.

If you’re heading to Citizens Bank Park to watch the Phillies in action, make sure to come hungry for the “SchwarBurger.” Not only will you satisfy your appetite with this colossal creation, but you’ll also be contributing to a worthy cause. As for the current series, the Phillies are leading 1-0 after a solid 4-1 victory over the Marlins in the opening game of the best-of-three series.
