In the latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Aaron Rodgers, the star quarterback of the New York Jets, has responded to Travis Kelce"s ‘vax war" jab.
It all began on October 3, when Rodgers took a subtle swipe at Kelce during his appearance on ESPN"s “Pat McAfee Show."
The backdrop for this friendly banter was the Jets versus Chiefs game at MetLife Stadium on October 2, which garnered attention due to Travis Kelce"s rumored GF, Taylor Swift"s presence.
Aaron Rodgers, in his commentary, had this to say about the game:
“Our defense played well, and Pat [Mahomes] didn"t have a crazy game. And Mr. Pfizer, we kinda shut him down a little bit. He didn"t have a crazy impact game. Obviously, he had some yards and stuff, but I felt like for the most part, we played really tough on defense."

The reference to Travis Kelce as “Mr. Pfizer" was a playful allusion to Kelce"s participation in Pfizer"s vaccine advertisements.
Rodgers" history with vaccines is well-documented.
He previously disclosed his allergy to an unspecified ingredient found in the mRNA vaccines manufactured by Pfizer and Moderna.
Next, on October 7, in response to Aaron Rodgers" comment, Travis Kelce, displaying his signature sense of humor, quipped:
“I thought it was pretty good. With the mustache, I look like someone named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I"d get into vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man? Mr. Pfizer versus the Johnson and Johnson family over there. I"m fully comfortable with him calling me ‘Mr. Pfizer.'"

Interestingly, Woody Johnson, heir to the Johnson & Johnson family, owns Aaron Rodgers" current team, New York Jets, and reportedly is a fan of Taylor Swift. What a twist!
Now, in the latest response to the playful exchange, Aaron Rodgers has now challenged Travis Kelce to a public debate on the subject of vaccines.
Rodgers elaborated:
“Well, there"s a lot of propaganda out there. A lot of propaganda out there. Listen, you know, Mr. Pfizer said he didn"t think he"d be in a vaxx war with me… This ain"t a war, homey; this is a conversation. But if you wanna have some sort of duel, debate, have me on the podcast, come on the show. Let"s have a conversation. Let"s do it like in John Wick IV, right? So we both have a second, right? So somebody to help us out. I"m gonna take my man RFK, Jr… And he can have, you know, Tony Fauci or some other Pharmacrat, and we can have a conversation about this."
In a highlight from Rodgers" remarks, he also expressed his desire for presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former prominent infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci to play a role in this debate as well.
