The National League Division Series saw the Los Angeles Dodgers facing the downward side as they lost to the sixth-seeded Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 3.
The outcome sent Los Angeles out of the postseason after just three games and sent the Arizona Diamondbacks to their first NLCS.
Christian Walker, Gabriel Moreno, Ketel Marte, and Geraldo Perdomo hit home runs. That not only put Arizona ahead 4-0 but also broke the record for the most home runs in an inning during the postseason. The Arizona Diamondbacks incredibly defeated the Dodgers.

They will play either the Philadelphia Phillies or the Atlanta Braves in the NLCS. But for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the journey of 2023 is over. And it’s quite similar to previous years.
For eleven years in a row, Los Angeles has qualified for the playoffs. The Dodgers have won three National League titles and a World Series during that time.

However, Los Angeles has also lost five times in the Division Series. After sweeping a minimum of 100 games throughout the regular season, the team suffered a total of three National League Division Series defeats.
