In what has been a difficult and troubling time for many people regarding the war between Israel and Hamas, former NFL quarterback and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady took to social media to speak on the matter and give his thoughts.
“There should be no gray area about condemning Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israeli citizens. No human deserves this,” Brady stated in a post he made on X (formerly known as Twitter).
It is great to see such a popular figure of Brady’s stature address the situation and use his platform to raise awareness for a topic that needs to be spoken about. Thousands of lives are being taken and the number only continues to grow with no apparent end in sight. Brady iterated that notion further along in his statement.
“I’m heartbroken for all of the innocent lives lost in Israel and Gaza this week, heartbroken for the losses that are sure to follow. It’s horrifying to watch this violence continue to unfold with no indication of stopping,” Brady added.
Brady has 3 million followers on X and has already had 3 million views on the post since he shared it yesterday. While there is seemingly no end in sight to the war between Israel and Hamas, Brady and several other popular figures have used their platform in an attempt to create positive change.
