Deshaun Watson’s Return from Injury Shrouded in Uncertainty, Browns Eyeing Matchup Against Colts

The talented quarterback of the Cleveland Browns, Deshaun Watson’s, date to return from his injury is shrouded in mystery.

According to Pro Football Talk, Watson may play again against the Colts next weekend, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, following Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com’s claim earlier that he might miss several more games due to a rotator cuff strain.

There have been different stories regarding Watson’s injuries. He declared he would play in spite of the injury two days prior to the Week 4 showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.

However, Watson had promised to play, and the team was taken aback by surprise when he didn’t.

Watson’s absence was then referred to as a “collective decision” by the team. Subsequently, Watson’s medical clearance to play was announced by head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Unfortunately, Watson will not be participating in the game against the San Francisco 49ers. According to the Associated Press, head coach Stefanski said, “It’s part of a rehab, so he’s making progress,”

“He’s getting better. He’s very disappointed. He wants to play. He wants to be able to compete with his teammates, so he’s just got to focus on getting better every day.”

The Cleveland Browns are optimistic that Watson can return against the Indianapolis Colts the next week, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Regarding the Watson predicament, Schefter cited two distinct quotes from two distinct sources. What they said was as follows:

“Hopefully he’ll be back next week,”

“He could be back next week,”
