NFL Fines several Players and teams for Week 5 On-Field Violations, Highest Number in Recent Years

The NFL still announces on Saturdays the fines that players will pay for breaking on-field regulations.

According to Pro Football Talk, an appeal may be filed for any fine. It is still unknown if the NFL will provide information about the conclusion of the appeals in its weekly announcement of fines that have been levied.

The Week 5 fines cover their effects on 18 clubs and 26 players. Atlanta Falcons center Drew Dalman was fined $6,301 for unnecessary roughness.

Buffalo Bills defensive end A.J. Epenesa was fined $21,855 for a hit on a quarterback. 

Tyler Matakevich, a linebacker for the Buffalo Bills, got $10,181 for unnecessary roughness. The defensive tackle of the Buffalo Bills, Ed Oliver, got $13,659 for unsportsmanlike conduct. He again received a fine of $16,391 for a hit on the quarterback. 

Carolina Panthers safety Vonn Bell received a $16,391 fine for unnecessary roughness. Dallas Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse was fined $10,927 for unsportsmanlike conduct. 

Leighton Vander Esch, a linebacker, got $18,219 for unnecessary roughness. Donovan Wilson Safety was fined $10,927 for unnecessary roughness. Wilson received another fine of $16,391 for unnecessary roughness. 

Denver Broncos tackle Garett Bolles was fined $10,927 for unnecessary roughness. The Detroit Lions Alex Anzalone linebacker received $13,922 for a hit on a quarterback. Aidan Hutchinson’s defensive end was fined $11,473 for unnecessary roughness. 

The Houston Texans, Blake Cashman, a linebacker, got $8,848 for unnecessary roughness. Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss got $6,330 for unsportsmanlike conduct. 

Jacksonville Jaguars, Jeremiah Ledbetter, a defensive end, got $5,611 for a hit on a quarterback. Kansas City Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed got $13,659 for unsportsmanlike conduct. 

Marcus Peters, a cornerback for the Las Vegas Raiders, got $13,378 for unnecessary roughness. Los Angeles Rams cornerback Derion Kendrick was fined $5,017 for unnecessary roughness. The Miami Dolphins wide receiver was fined $10,927 for unsportsmanlike conduct. 

The New England Patriots safety, Kyle Dugger, was fined $20,266 for unnecessary roughness. Wide receiver Matt Slater was fined $14,819 for unnecessary roughness. New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore got $16,391 for unnecessary roughness. 

Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive back Reed Blankenship was fined $4,843 for unnecessary roughness. Dallas Goedert, a tight end, was fined  $11,473 for unnecessary roughness. Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt was fined $11,473 for unnecessary roughness. T.J. Watt was fined $13,659 for the second time for unsportsmanlike conduct. 

San Francisco 49ers guard Aaron Banks was fined $10,440 for unnecessary roughness.

George Kittle, a tight end, received $13,659 for unsportsmanlike conduct.
