After playing just six games for the team the previous season, Scotty Pippen Jr. was waived by the Los Angeles Lakers.
Many had anticipated that Pippen would demonstrate his growth during his time with the Lakers this season, but that was short-lived as he was dismissed.

Pippen’s rookie season averages with the Lakers were 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.3 assists.
With the club working hard to qualify for the postseason, he was unable to see much playing time.
Pippen played a significant number of minutes against the Milwaukee Bucks. He worked really hard and competed. His father is Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, and Pippen Jr. finished with 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 6 assists.
