Nick Castellanos and Bryce Harper have been putting on a spectacular display of power hitting in the MLB postseason.

In their last three games, they have combined to hit a whopping eight home runs, which is the most by a duo in a three-game span in postseason history.

This impressive feat surpasses the previous record held by Castellanos and Trea Turner, as well as the legendary duo of Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth in 1928, who both hit seven home runs each.

Harper and Castellanos have also become the fourth pair of teammates in postseason history to hit multiple home runs in a single game.

The top spot in this list is still held by the iconic duo of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, who achieved this feat in the 1932 World Series.

Harper’s motivation to hit home runs seems to stem from a desire to make up for any mistakes or setbacks.

In a previous game, he made a baserunning blunder that contributed to the team’s loss.

Determined to redeem himself, Harper hit his eighth and ninth postseason home runs over the past two seasons, adding to his team’s pursuit of victory.

It’s worth noting that Harper and Castellanos didn’t just wow us with their performance on the field; they also made a fashion statement off the field.

In Game 3 of the NLDS, the Phillies once again demonstrated their dominance by scoring heavily in the third inning, just as they did in the previous season.

Last year, they returned home from Atlanta with a 1-1 split and scored six runs in the third inning. This time, Castellanos and Harper hit home runs off Bryce Elder, giving their team a 4-1 lead.

Catcher J.T. Realmuto further increased the lead with a two-run double, and Harper later added a solo shot in the fifth inning.
