All 32 teams will be represented in this initiative, which will take place across Weeks 7 and 8 of the 2023 season.
During this period, over 330 players and coaches will take the field wearing international flag decals.
Players will have the option to add flags to their helmets, while coaches will wear patches on their jackets.
This gesture aims to showcase the League’s diverse and ever-growing pool of athletes from different nationalities and cultures.
Fans can expect to see representatives from more than 70 nations and territories.
The list of athletes participating in the NFL Heritage program includes notable players such as Tua Tagovailoa, Fred Warner, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Puka Nacua, Chris Olave, DJ Moore, Jimmy Garoppolo, Aaron Jones, Efe Obada, and Jordan Mailata, among others.
Additionally, coaching staff from 17 clubs, including notable figures like Bill Belichick, Arthur Smith, Ron Rivera, and Brian Daboll, will also be representing their cultural backgrounds.
Participants in the program have the option to wear the flag of an international country or territory where their relatives were born or where they have lived for over two years.
These flag decals will be worn alongside the American flag, allowing players to represent their backgrounds throughout the remainder of the season.
