Candace Parker is regarded as one of the most incredible talents currently in the WNBA and she has now won her third WNBA Championship with the Las Vegas Aces.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, “With the title in 2023, Candace Parker becomes the 1st player in WNBA history to win a title with 3 different teams. 2023 – Aces 2021 – Sky 2016 – Sparks”

Parker was recovering from a foot injury and due to that, she missed all of the Aces’ incredible playoff run that resulted in their second consecutive WNBA title.

Due to injuries, Las Vegas’ starting point guard Kiah Stokes and point guard Chelsea Grey missed Game 4, but they still won the series, subsequently becoming the Champions for the second time in a row.

A’ja Wilson was chosen as the MVP of the Finals despite not being chosen for the 2023 MVP award. Wilson was also named the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year.

Here, Parker could be seen saying something to Wilson as she gets up off the bench. Parker has now become the only athlete to win three WNBA titles while playing for three separate clubs.

The Los Angeles Sparks, who selected her first overall in the 2008 WNBA Draft, were the team she won her first championship in 2016. When she joined the Chicago Sky in 2021, the second one arrived.

The seven-time NBA All-Star Parker’s illustrious career includes selection to ten All-WNBA teams, two WNBA MVP awards, the MVP of the WNBA Finals, and winning defensive player of the year, among several other accolades.

As per Yahoo Sports, she also became the first player to surpass 6K points, 3K rebounds, and 1,500 assists in a career.

The team also announced that she would not play again this season after undergoing surgery in July for a fracture to her left foot. The incredible veteran signed a one-season contract with the Las Vegas Aces, the 2023 WNBA Champions.
