Milwaukee Bucks duo Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo have given a new nickname, they are now being called “Freak Time.”
The fans and league have embraced the combination of Lillard and Antetokounmpo and their nicknames The Greek Freak and Dame Time to Freak Time.

On the ThisLeague UNCUT podcast, Lillard told NBA insiders Chris Haynes and Marc Stein in response to the given nickname, he said,
“I’m not invested in that at all. Everybody’s doing all this talking, I’m just trying to play. I leave that to everybody else.”
Even the Bucks’ official social media accounts also posted the “Freak Time” nickname, when they unveiled Antetokounmpo’s picture with Lillard during media day.
It is evident enough to say Lillard is more invested in his individual ‘Dame Time’ nickname, during the big game, he’ll point to his wrist to let everyone know that it’s Dame Time.
Lillard has appeared in two preseason games, in his debut he played 22 minutes and finished with a stats line of 14 points, three assists, and four steals.
After their first game last week, Giannis has commented on the partnership that it may take time to perfect. He said,
“It might take a month, two months, six months, it doesn’t matter. We might figure it out in the last game of the regular season. The goal is to be where we want to be when it matters the most.”
