LIV golf fixer Greg Norman has been at the forefront of the new tour’s relative success and feels like it will grow in 2024.
“All indications are showing that the position of LIV has never been stronger, and that the success of our players and our brand has never been in a better place…. “I’m definitely seeing a lot of FOMO out there,” the former major champion revealed this week.
Norman, an Australian who famously wore a Stetson looking hat throughout his career has had his fair share of detractors since becoming an ambassador for the breakaway tour.
He has achieved plenty of success in luring some of the sport’s biggest stars, like Brooks Koepka, away from the PGA.
But the traditional golfing fraternity are still yapping away, not allowing world ranking points to be earned for the tour.
There are life altering sums of money doled out each week, with the 54-hole event attracting major winners and former Ryder Cup legends.
“I know, personally I’m speaking to numerous players who want to come to LIV.” Norman said after reports indicated his position at LIV is not secure.
He called reports of his demise “white noise.”
Norman is now one of the most polarizing former golfers on the planet, but the Aussie is taking it all in his stride.
