There are strong indications that Jerry Jeudy, the wide receiver from the Denver Broncos, could soon be switching teams and wearing a different uniform, possibly with the Indianapolis Colts. According to beat writer Destin Adams, the Colts have been involved in substantial trade discussions regarding Jeudy, making him a likely candidate to be traded before the league’s deadline on October 31.

Broncos coach Sean Payton mentioned that Jeudy is eager to have a breakout performance, and part of the challenge lies in providing him with more opportunities. Denver, with a 1-5 record, is reportedly looking to sell some assets, and as they may be heading towards a rebuilding phase, they might decide to trade Jeudy to the highest bidder. Alongside the Colts, the Carolina Panthers have also expressed interest in acquiring the 24-year-old receiver. Interestingly, Jeudy himself appears indifferent to the possibility of a trade.
“Trade me or not, it doesn’t matter, At the end of the day, I’m still going to be myself.” : Jeudy stated in a press conference on Thursday.
While no final deal has been confirmed at this time, these discussions have progressed beyond the initial exploratory stage. Jeudy, who was the 15th overall pick in the 2020 draft, has had a disappointing season compared to expectations. In six games, he has recorded 222 receiving yards from 29 catches, with a career-low average of 11.1 yards per reception. He hasn’t scored a touchdown since December 11, 2022, and his frustration has been evident in recent weeks, including conflicts with Broncos legends and on-field disagreements with former NFL greats.
