Astros short stop and third baseman Alex Bregman appeared on FOX Sports after his team’s 10-3 win over the Rangers in game four of their playoff series.
The series is deadlocked at 2-2 and anything is possible in the final push for a world series appearance.
Tbe Astros play the Rangers on Monday and Tieaday and the pressure will be red hot.
“This team’s been punched in the mouth a lot over the last seven years. When you’re playing against a great ball club like them, you expect it to be challenging,” he told FOX Sports MLB.
Bregman has been with the Houston team since 2016 and is a two time All Star player.
He has hit 164 home runs in his career and boasts a .274 average.
He has hit 25 home runs in 2023, 98 RBI and 163 hits.
