Back in May in an interview with Forbes, he said,
“I want to be a billionaire. Sooner than later. It’s what I want to be. In the business realm, that is a pinnacle that people where I come from don’t make it to.”
The road to Westbrook becoming a billionaire has to be counted from his non-NBA earnings, his own streetwear brand, Honor The Gift, and RWE is where an empire could be laid.
RW Digital, a digital advertising business was also launched by the 2016-17 MVP, with notable commercial partners and is expected to generate $37 million in revenue.
In collaboration with the Jordan brand, Westbrook has introduced a sports and lifestyle line, but his entrepreneurial prowess seems to have no end there.
As per the evaluations by Forbes, his lesser-known investments have pulled $175 million growth in his business portfolio, escalating from $200 million in 2022 to $375 million,
Westbrook’s net worth from his contract in the NBA is an average annual salary of $44 million, paying him a total of $220 million over five years.
Westbrook has reportedly earned $336.4 million over his NBA career, along with around $200 million more in endorsements and business investments, per Craig.
This should also not go without saying as he has invested in brands like Magic Spoon, Pizzana, Poppi, Triller, and Hyperice as part of his investment portfolio.
