Basketball legend Magic Johnson may have had all the right moves on the court, but his social media trolling is not quite, well so magical.
Johnson, rightly considered to be an all-time NBA team starter, is a four percent owner of the Washington Commanders, and was not a happy camper after their latest loss, going down 14-7 to the New York Giants.
Going into the game the Commanders started as favorites but the New York team historically smashes Washington, winning seven of their last 10 games.
Magic was as bland as unsalted rice saying on X.
“Disappointing 14-7 loss for my Commanders to the NY Giants. It’s hard to win in the NFL when you only score 7 points.”
He has invested $242 million into the team so he probably wants to err on the side of caution. But saying you can’t win a football match with only one touchdown is like saying Michael Jordan couldn’t dunk.
He was as bad, or bland when the Commanders lost to the Bears earlier in the month, stating at the time, “Tonight, the Commanders played with no intensity or fire. We didn’t compete in the first half and got down 27-3 heading into halftime. It was too big of a hole to climb out of and that is why we ended up losing 40-20.”
