According to ESPN Stats and Info, “Adolis García is the first player in MLB postseason history to hit a home run after striking out 4 times earlier in the game.”
The Cuban right fielder sealed the game in the ninth inning with the Rangers ahead. After leaving Cuba, Adolis Garcia signed with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2017. He was moved to the Rangers prior to the 2020 campaign.

He also led them throughout the postseason and was named to the All-Star squad this year, making him one of the vital members.
Game 6 was played incredibly well by the Texas Rangers, as they had already built an advantageous lead through the game and Garcia wonderfully completed the team’s goal with his three-run home run.
