“She is making him better and challenging him in more than one way” Houston Rockets guard can see how Taylor Swift is helping Kelce and the Chiefs

Victor Oladipo is no Oprah Winfrey, but he dishes out some mad love respect for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

The Houston Rockets guard believes the country pop star is not a distraction to the Kansas City team but rather a motivating factor in their success this season.

Kelce was in fine form on Sunday, bursting for 179 yards in his team’s 31-17 win over the Chargers.

Writing on his social media the former Heat basketballer showed just how much a loving relationship can improve productivity.

“Invest in someone that’s going to make you greater,” he wrote.

“Not just in your craft but in every way. We look at it like, it’s Taylor Swift.

“Yes, you’re right for looking at it that way, but what about the things we don’t see? It’s not just her coming to the games contributing to his success,” he continued.

“It’s a whole different mentality now. She is making him better and challenging him in more than one way we just see in his play.”

Swift is seen as a windfall by the NFL who were looking to add a new layer of demographics.

Kelce is also bringing plenty of new fans to Swift and it seems the only losers in this situation are the rest of the AFC West opposition. The Raiders, Chargers and Broncos will be left scrapping it out for second spot.

The 6-1 Chiefs next take on fellow conference rivals the Broncos on the road in their week 8 encounter. Will Taylor be in Denver, will Kelce keep shaking off the defenders remains to be seen, but there will be no surprise if the power duo takes over Colorado.
