NFL broadcaster and analyst Jason McIntyre has been chided by fans for calling New York Giants line caller Tyrod Taylor as a “young quarterback”.
Taylor has been in the NFL for 13 years and the 34-year-old was instrumental in the Giants picking up their second win of the season in 14-7 win over the Commanders.
Taylor has 55 starts and appeared in 87 NFL games, after signing with the Ravens in 2011.
He has turned out for the Bills, Browns, Chargers, Texans and now at the New York Giants.
The Herd team of McIntyre and Colin Cowherd were discussing the Giants win when the former made his blip.
Maybe he was confused that the Giants beat the 3-4 Commanders, with Taylor at the helm, or maybe the coffee was a little Irish.
This little gaffe was preceded by Cowherd stating that he didn’t believe Geno Smith could lead the Seahawks to an AFC championship, while the Seattle team is as NFC as they come.
Whatever you may think of the Herd, the duo is definitely entertaining.
