Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh is facing increasing heat for what we can call ‘ticketgate’, a form of sign stealing that has seen the university embroiled in another drama, after their advance scouting fallout from two years back.
The NCAA has found that Michigan and by proxy Harbaugh bought tickets well in advance for their upcoming opposition games.
Analyst Connor Stallions is at the centre of the saga as ESPN reported the former staffer had bought advance tickets for more than 30 games across 11 Big-Ten Schools in the span of three years.
That is too much of a coincidence and even the most ardent football fan would not embark on such a college adventure.
Not one of the games involved Michigan, but rather covering Michigan’s opposition teams.
This includes Saturday’s Penn State versus Ohio clash, on both sides of the stadium.
According to video footage by one of the Big-Ten teams, the ticket holders occupied by Stallion beneficiaries held up a smart phone and ostensibly recorded the sideline footage of the game.
The head coach denies and sign stealing, but according to NCAA regulations that buck stops at Harbaugh.
This controversy could hasten the former 49ers coach back to the NFL.
