Anthony Richardson, the rookie quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts, had a season-ending injury and due to that injury, he underwent surgery.
However, reportedly, the surgery was successful, and now he is on the road to recovery.
Richardson had damaged his right shoulder during the victorious Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans and that required surgery.
His surgery took place on Tuesday. This was revealed by Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay.

Anthony is doing well and thanks everyone for the support. (There is presently no date for his return.) The NFL admits and understands that they did not make the correct calls at end of Sunday’s Colts/Browns Game. I believe we need to institute Instant Replay for all calls, including Penalties, in the last two minutes of All Games.”
The news is definitely positive for Richardson but unfortunately, it isn’t for the Indianapolis Colts, who are currently without their talented rookie quarterback.
The priority of the Colts for now is to prepare Richardson if he recovers well for offseason sessions. The head coach, Shane Steichen, has also stated that the possibility is looking good regarding the likelihood of his readiness.
