NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers made a bold political declaration during his recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” this Tuesday.

The star quarterback, now with the New York Jets after an illustrious 18-year career with the Green Bay Packers, publicly voiced his support for the independent presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an accomplished environmental lawyer, a well-known anti-vaccine activist and the son of the former senator, officially threw his hat into the 2024 United States presidential race on April 19, 2023.

In October, he disassociated himself from the Democratic Party.

Kennedy’s campaign, rooted in a vision of unity, seeks to bridge the deep partisan divides that have been a persistent issue in American politics.

His decision to run as an independent reflects a desire to offer voters an alternative to the divisive landscape that has gripped the nation’s politics.

Aaron Rodgers, known for his unconventional approach both on and off the field, took a detour into the realm of politics during his interview on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

While discussing his approach to leadership and the humorous styles of quarterbacks like Eli and Peyton Manning, Rodgers pivoted the conversation to express his endorsement of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s candidacy.

In a bold proclamation, Rodgers declared, “Thank you, man. I believe in medical freedom, and informed consent, and I’m voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., so have a great day, everybody.”

FYI, like Kennedy Jr, Rodgers has also skepticism regarding the vaccine and made the decision not to get vaccinated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rodgers’ endorsement comes in the midst of a challenging period for the quarterback.

He recently suffered a season-ending injury when he tore his Achilles tendon during his very first game with the New York Jets, just four plays into the contest.

After undergoing surgery and being placed in a cast, experts are cautiously optimistic about his recovery, with estimates suggesting a possible return to the field when the Jets are set to face the Dolphins on December 17.
