Bills quarterback Josh Allen will be looking to bounce back from the team’s 25-29 loss to the Patriots.
Allen struggled opposite New England’s Mac Jones despite having more possession.
Jones went 25-30 while Allen threw 27 from 41 for 265 yards, two TD’s and an interception.
Allen was trying to stay upbeat after the Patriots recorded only their second win on the season, while the Bills slumped to 4-3 after a bright start to the campaign.
“Just trying to stay in this state called ‘low positive,’ where your energy is not super high, and you’re allowing your mind to think and be free and just stay on top of everything, because obviously as the quarterback, there is a lot of things going through our mind,” Allen told Katherine Fitzgerald of the Buffalo News.
Allen will hope the Bills can defeat the Buccaneers in their Friday Night game.
The Buccaneers are 3-3 and looking to move on from second in the NFC South.
Allen continued, “So, if I can limit myself and my energy and my heart rate, I felt like I can maybe think a little bit more — but who knows, maybe I need to think a little bit less and just play football.”
The Bills lie second in the AFC East conference behind the 5-2 Dolphins.
