Imagine going to bed on weekend as part of the 2-5 Titans and waking up Thursday to being part of the 6-1 Eagles.
One person who is living the dream is safety Kevin Byard who completed the dream move on Wednesday.
“This is my eighth season and I’m feeling really good, coming off a bye week, too,” Byard said, via the team’s website. “I’m definitely feeling fresh right now. This team has a great culture and I’m just looking to add to that. It feels good to wake up 6-1.”
He was born in Philadelphia but moved away as a teenager so to come back to a Superbowl contending team must be imagination imitating life.
He was signed as the 64th overall pick by the Titans in 2016 and is a two-0time First-Team All-Pro and was the 2017 NFL interceptions co-leader.
He will get his first chance at Eagles success when the team takes on the Commanders in week 8.
He has a chance to keep the Eagles atop the NFC East, and the NFC as a whole.
What a difference a few days can make.
