“I dreamed of this moment as a kid and to get a win is incredible” – Rookie QB Will Levis savors special NFL debut with one eye on next game

The rookie quarterback of the Tennessee Titans, Will Levis, made a sensational debut in the game against the Atlanta Falcons. The Titans were successful in defeating the Falcons and the concluding score was 28-23.

According to ESPN, the head coach of the Titans, Mike Vrabel, said, “Not a bad debut,”

“We hit some shots down the field. The opportunities to move the ball down the field were there, and we hit ’em.”

The rookie quarterback came in place of Ryan Tannehill, who was out due to an injury. With his impressive performance, including four touchdowns and 19 of 29 throws for 238 yards, he trails behind Fran Tarkenton and Marcus Mariota as the only players in the history of the NFL who have completed four touchdowns or more in their first NFL game.

Levis also expressed the elation brought by his performance and said, “This is a dream come true for sure,”

“I dreamed of this moment as a kid, and to get a win is incredible. But we have a few more minutes to celebrate it today, then we’re on to Pittsburgh, as Vrabel would say.”

Levis gave an eye-catching performance and as per the NFL, he avoided the mistakes he had occasionally made in his college career. With this, the quarterback also proved that he can definitely withstand pressure and could also make incredibly precise throws. His confidence in his abilities will also serve him greatly in the future.

Derrick Henry, the running back, also shared, “He was ballin’, huh,”

“He was playing out of his mind. It was exciting how it came together with him handling the offense and us being able to finish drives and makes some plays.”

The team the Tennessee Titans will next face is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
