After the Titans traded safety Kevin Byard to the Eagles last week, rumors began swirling about other potential deals ahead of the trade deadline.
One player at the center of the speculation was running back Derrick Henry. With Henry in the final year of his contract, there were talks about potential suitors who would benefit from having him in their backfield.

However, recent reports indicate that the Titans have no plans to trade Henry in the coming days.
When asked about the trade chatter, Derrick Henry acknowledged the business nature of the NFL.
He understands that players can be traded at any time and that it"s part of the sports industry.
While he acknowledges this, he clearly states his commitment and happiness as a Titan.
"I’ve talked to [Titans GM Ran Carthon]. We’ve had talks, and I feel like everything’s going in a positive direction," Henry said, via Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official website. "I understand my position. The life span of it is not too long. I’m getting older. I ain’t getting no younger. But, at the end of the day, I know it’s a business and I understand that. …"I’m a Titan, and I’m happy to be a Titan. … I am going to do everything I can to help this organization continue to win."

In the Titans" recent victory over the Falcons, Derrick Henry demonstrated his immense talent by rushing for 101 yards.
This outstanding performance solidifies Henry"s value to the team. He continues to be a force on the field, making him an essential asset to the team"s offense.
Speculation will come to an end at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, the deadline for NFL trades.
Until then, fans and analysts alike will eagerly await news of any potential moves involving Derrick Henry.
