Game 2 of the World Series between the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks apparently became the “least-watched” game among all the World Series games.
The average recorded number of viewers on FOX was 8.15 million. The Saturday night game had the lowest viewership and the last time that happened was in the pandemic-ridden year 2020.

According to Front Office Sports, “Game 2 of Diamondbacks-Rangers was the least-watched World Series game ever. The game averaged 8.15 million viewers across FOX — less than half the audience of Rams-Cowboys on Sunday.”
However, the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Texas Rangers don’t usually draw momentous crowds like the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, or Philadelphia Phillies. Subsequently, the series drew fewer eyes.
The rating of the MLB is unfortunately not flowing in the direction it should be as the World Series game attracts more audiences.
A few decades ago, it was a greater number than it is today.
