Raiders’ wide receiver, Davante Adams, expressed his frustration after the team’s disappointing offensive performance against the Lions on Monday night.
He admitted that he didn’t know what to say about the situation, emphasizing his frustration with the team’s overall performance.
When asked about what the Raiders need to do to improve their offense, Josh Jacobs, who scored the team’s only offensive touchdown, didn’t have much to add.
“I don’t know, it ain’t my job,” Jacobs said, via Bridget Condon of NFL Media.

However, it is clear that discussing offensive shortcomings will eventually lead to scrutiny of the team’s quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, who struggled during the game.
He completed only 10 out of 21 passes for 126 yards, throwing an interception and getting sacked six times.
While other teammates refrained from singling out specific positions that need improvement, Garoppolo acknowledged the need for his own improvement.
“You have good days and bad days,” Garoppolo said, via Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com. “Today was a bad day, there’s no sugarcoating it. It is what it is. So, I’ve just got to play better. Myself, I have to play better. A bunch of little things that will solve a lot of problems. It starts with me. We’ve got to be better, and we will be.”
The Raiders have had more bad days than good ones so far this season, leaving little reason for confidence in immediate changes.
Monday night’s game served as a reminder of the need for significant alterations to the team’s personnel and offensive approach.
The Raiders might potentially make some adjustments before the trade deadline, but it is more likely that any moves will involve shipping players out rather than bringing new players in.
The real changes are expected to come during the offseason.
