“It’s hard to curb your frustration when you can’t put it together” – Raiders WR Davante Adams left fuming with offense as Lions roar past the Las Vegas team

The Raiders did not pitch up offensively on Monday Night Football and were deservedly beaten by the Lions, with the Detroit team running out 26-14 winners.

There were heaps of frustration for the returning quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who could not find his groove leaving wide receiver Davante Adams visibly distraught.

“I don’t know what to say at this moment,” Adams said after the game. “I wish I had the words to say something that’s not going to be blown up in the media and taken out of context.

“It’s hard to curb your frustration when you can’t put it together when you know you should,” the six-time Pro Bowler admitted after the game.

The former Packers player is no doubt passionate and emotive and if the Raiders don’t start gelling, he may become more histrionic than a Vegas showstopper.

Garoppolo, who is struggling with a back injury gave up the team’s ninth interception this season as early as the first quarter and the offense was thrown off their game.

The QB was 10-21 with 126 yards, as the Lions sensational running back Jahmyr Gibbs posted more yards on his own than the entire Raiders team could produce all game.

The Las Vegas Raiders will have to up the ante when they take on the New York Giants in week 9.

The Raiders are 3-5 in a surprisingly tough AFC West Division, trailing the 6-2 Chiefs.

The Raiders join the Chargers and the Broncos with the same winning record, and it is all to play for.
