Tom Brady has not said anything about replacing an injured Kirk Cousins at the Vikings, and that tells a story unto itself

There is the slightest rumbling that former Patriots legend and all-round GOAT Tom Brady is contemplating a move back to league action.

Brady did not unequivocally state he will not come out of retirement to join the Vikings when he addressed the latest Let’s Go podcast.

The 46-year-old seven-time Superbowl champion has been conspicuously quiet about a career about turn, after the Vikings lost quarterback Kirk Cousins to a season ending Achilles injury.

Brady being Brady can be silent and still speak a thousand words, or so the hype machine and the desperation of the Vikings would have us believe.

Imagine if Brady had to not mention joining a team every episode, there would be a sniff of a chance for all 32 sides to get a slice of experience with a side dish of legend.

Brady last donned NFL gear in 2022 when he turned out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 199th pick by the New England Patriots has forged the greatest NFL career imaginable, but even a return would seem inconceivable. But what a movie it would make.
