The Las Vegas Raiders have officially dismissed their head coach, Josh McDaniels, and their general manager, Dave Zeigler.
However, another Raiders staff member on the line is their offensive coordinator, Mick Lombardi.
According to SI and Pro Football Talk, Josh McDaniels and Mick Lombardi worked together with the squad of the New England Patriots. He was the assistant quarterbacks coach.
In 2022, both McDaniels and Lombardi left the Patriots and joined the Raiders squad.

Lombardi commenced his career in the National Football League with the New England Patriots as their scouting assistant. In 2013, he was hired by the San Francisco 49ers as an assistant to then-head coach Jim Harbaugh.
He was made an offensive assistant in 2014 and in 2015, he was with the 49ers under then-head coach Jim Tomsula. He was the defensive assistant at that time. The next year, he was retained and was the offensive coach for quality control.
Lombardi was acquired by the New York Jets in 2017, and he was also promoted to assistant quarterbacks coach. He once again joined the New England Patriots in 2019 as their assistant quarterback coach.
Lombardi’s brother Matt is with the Raiders as an offensive assistant and assistant receivers coach.
However, no further information has been available regarding Matt and his future with the organization.
With Mick’s exit, Scott Turner becomes a strong contender to take his place, as per Pro Football Talk.
He is the son of former coach Norv Turner, who also served as the coach of the Los Angeles Chargers and the Las Vegas Raiders. Turner was earlier with the Washington Commanders as well.
