The San Antonio Spurs narrowly escaped with a 115-114 victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Fans at the AT&T Center were on the edge of their seats as the final moments of this game unfolded contentiously.

In the waning moments of a San Antonio Spurs vs. Phoenix Suns game, Kevin Durant faced a critical turnover as Keldon Johnson stripped the ball away.

The Suns held a three-point lead with just six seconds remaining.

Durant, anticipating a foul, clung to the ball, but Tre Jones of the Spurs thwarted his advance.

Johnson capitalized on the opportunity, snatching the ball from Durant and swiftly making a basket with only 1.2 seconds left, propelling the Spurs into a one-point lead.

The intense conclusion to the Spurs vs. Suns game has left fans seething over a perceived missed foul on Kevin Durant.

NBA enthusiasts took to social media to voice their discontent and here’s how they responded:

“My favorite part of this is that KD is looking around like he deserved a foul call on an obviously clean steal.”

“You mean the foul that sealed the win.”

“That was some embarrassing snatch.”

“My girl says he grabbed that ball like a baby out of his arms.”

“Flexing a foul is crazy.”

“How do the refs not call a foul right here when Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the game and one of the biggest stars in the NBA? Biggest fucking foul in the world and they don’t even call anything , Refs cost the game big time and the bench units.”

“Kevin Durant is one of the biggest superstars in the NBA and there’s a million cameras showing he’s getting hacked and scratching his face at the end there where they took the ball, I just don’t get how they don’t call that it was the most obvious foul.

“Was their a foul, or clean turnover on Kevin Durant?”

“Slow motion yields clear two fouls committed.”

“When they zoomed in on him on the bench his face was bleeding.”

Durant has accumulated 1,900 fouls throughout his career and received 11 technical fouls in the current season.

The rules dictate that a player faces suspension after amassing 16 technical fouls during the regular season.

Phoenix Suns head coach Frank Vogel contended that Durant had indeed been fouled before losing possession of the ball and expressed frustration over the lack of a foul call by the referees.
