FOX Sports Host Chris Broussard Makes Massive Mistake on Live Television to Describe James Harden

After successfully forcing his way out of the Philadelphia 76ers and being traded to his team of choice (Los Angeles Clippers), James Harden is now set to play for his fourth team since 2021. It is very rare to see a player of Harden’s caliber bounce around so much, but he continues to have his trade requests granted despite the chaos that seems to follow him.

In light of Harden being dealt to the Clippers, FOX Sports host Chris Broussard spoke on the matter during a segment of First Things First, a sports talk show that is nationally televised. When speaking about Harden, Broussard made a massive mistake, using a developmental slur to describe the former NBA MVP Award winner.

"Nick [Wright], is the man re*****d?" Broussard stated before his co-host Nick Wright told him he shouldn’t use that word.

Broussard quickly realized what he did wrong and referred to Harden as "Developmentally disabled." However, at that point, the damage was already done. The reaction and facial expression of fellow co-host Kevin Wildes following Broussard’s use of the slur says it all.

Regardless of who is being spoken about, It is unacceptable to use that word to describe someone. Broussard’s choice of words was poor to say the least, especially when it is regarding a basketball decision.

Broussard briefly apologized in the middle of his rant, referencing a family member he recently lost who was developmentally disabled. However, he’s yet to issue a formal statement/apology about the massive mistake he made on live television.
