“I think you should call him ‘Mad Frog’ Ruso.” – Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Ruso backs out of Diamondbacks {wearing a bikini in public} pledge made on Howard Stern Show

Chris Mad Dog Ruso is not barking mad, just a bit chicken maybe.

The outspoken broadcaster promised to retire on the spot if the Diamondbacks won the NLCS, and when that happened, he told Howard Stern he would rather turn out in a bikini.

His original quote ahead of the sixth game of the series against the Phillies stated, “I would not be stunned if they (Arizona Diamondbacks) won tonight. I would be floored,” Russo said. “And I’ll say this right now… If they win the next two games and win this series in seven games, I will retire on the spot.”

Stern offered Mad Dog a chance to get out of the pledge by saying, ““How about this: you come on my show — I’ll come into Manhattan for this — we put you in a bikini, and you walk down the street with a sign that says, ‘I’m a douche,’” Stern said. “If you do that, people will say, ‘OK, it’s alright. Mad Dog settled it.”

Now it seems Ruso has welched out of that promise as well.

Stern told Mad Dog, “I don’t want you to do anything,” Stern said, “but I know people are gonna call ‘bullshit’ on you for a long time unless you do something radical.”

But if the latest news filtering on social media via Stern’s latest podcast is correct it would seem he has more bark than bite.

But I’m sure many listened would have made their mind up about that fact already.

Stern related what a fan said on his latest show, “I think you should call him Mad Frog Ruso.

“I’m out of it, he can do whatever he wants, I don’t care,” said the fan.
