On the Gilbert Arenas show, the credentials of 76ers President Daryl Morey were discussed and Arenas commented.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been in the news spotlight this year, starting from the James Harden saga now again it seems there are to be yet again.
Now, Former NBA player Arenas believes President Morey is one of the reasons to be blamed for whatever is happening in the 76ers.

He said on the show,
"It seemed like the Sixers were better when Elton Brand was the face of the team. He understood basketball. What are Daryl Morey’s credentials? He’s an Instagram guy, not a reality guy."
Morey has made some contributions and significant moves since taking over as President of Basketball Operations, and will be judged on how many championships his teams can win.
He was the GM of the Houston Rockets from 2007 to 2020 and in his tenure, the Rockets went to the playoffs ten times and made the Western Conference Finals twice.
As the James Harden saga has come to an end this week, the 76ers traded the former MVP to the Los Angeles Clippers in a late-night blockbuster.
The deal was pulled off the 76ers" ownership, not General Manager Daryl Morey"s, which has raised questions about the organization"s strategy and Morey"s role in the process.
President of basketball operations, Morey"s stress is not going to end any time soon. As reported the relationship between Morey and reigning MVP Joel Embiid has been "undeniably dented" by the Harden saga, The Sixers have Embiid under contract for the next three seasons.
