“My God, what idiots” – SEC staffer amazed by stupidity of those embroiled in Michigan sign – stealing scandal

The fallout from the Michigan sign stealing furore refuses to die down with social media users and SEC coaches united in their scathing indictment.

The uproar caused by a former Michigan Wolverines staffer Collin Stalions pitching up on the sidelines of opposing teams in matches, fully accredited.

Central Michigan is investigating whether Stalions was pitch side in their opening season game against Michigan State after photos emerged of a person who looked remarkably like Stalions.

There has been an uproar on social media with some comments including:

“In some ways they should be accountable for just plain stupidity,” says Sun Belt head coach.

“If all of this is factually true, look at how their record has changed since they started doing this,” said AAC head coach.

“Doing it it is one thing getting caught is another entirely new thing,” SEC staffer.

The question for Michigan’s head coach Jim Harbaugh is not whether Stalions did all this with his permission but rather that he did it at all.

SEC bylaws stipulate Harbaugh must take full responsibility.

The Wolverines are ranked 2 nationwide and can do without the extra attention.

According to commentator and analyst Pete Thamel and ESPN inside sources, after a Big Ten coaches call on Thursday, a vast majority of the league’s coaches encouraged commissioner Tony Petitti to punish Michigan amid its NCAA sign-stealing investigation. “Collectively, the coaches want the Big Ten to act.”
