The City of Arlington invited fans to celebrate the 2023 World Champion Texas Rangers at a World Series Victory Parade on Friday in the Entertainment District.

The free event was open to the public, and Arlington fire officials estimated 400,000 to 700,000 fans attended the grand celebration.
Thousands of fans were lined up in the streets of Arlington’s Entertainment District on Friday to attend the parade celebration of the first World Series title in Texas Rangers history.
As reported parking lots M, N, and Q were full by 9:15 a.m. The parade circling Globe Life Field kicks off at 12:15 p.m, Arlington police welcome large crowds for the victory party.
Arlington PD spokesperson Tim Ciesco told WFAA,
“The way it’s kind of been put to me: Imagine having two Cowboys games and three or four Rangers games going on at the same time.”
The station also reported fans were lined up by 6:30 p.m. the night before as soon as the city announced the parade. The Rangers secured their first World Series title Wednesday night, beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0.
Corey Seager was on the center stage to thunderous chants of M-V-P! When the Texas Rangers celebrated the franchise’s first World Series championship on Friday.
Seager, the second-time World Series MVP, following a two-hour parade along a 2-mile route near the team’s ballpark ceremony told,
“Really, this was truly special, we appreciate all of your support.”
Manager Bruce Bochy also said,
“Years from now, I’m going to think about this moment, and I’m going to cherish the time that I had to spend with (these players).”
