Celtics star Jayson Tatum has once again made history for the franchise with his latest milestone against the Brooklyn Nets.

Over the years, the Boston Celtics have been fortunate enough to have numerous Hall of Fame players wear their iconic green jersey.

From legends like Bill Russell and Larry Bird to Paul Pierce and many others, the Celtics have always had a roster filled with some of the greatest players in NBA history. And now, it’s Jayson Tatum’s turn to leave his mark.

In their game against the Nets, Tatum became the youngest player in Celtics history to reach 10,000 career points. He finished the game with an impressive 32 points, helping Boston secure a 124-114 victory.

It’s yet another achievement for the talented young player, who has been making waves in the league since he was drafted as the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Tatum has remained loyal to the Celtics throughout his career, and after the 2023-24 season, he will be eligible for a supermax extension from the team.

This season, Tatum has been putting up remarkable numbers, averaging 29.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game.

He has been an essential part of the Celtics’ success and has proven himself as one of the league’s top players. With an impressive shooting percentage of 56.3% from the field, 40.6% from beyond the arc, and 80% from the free-throw line, Tatum is a force to be reckoned with on the court.

It’s no surprise that Tatum was named to his fourth consecutive All-Star selection in the 2022–23 season and finished in the top five in the NBA MVP Award voting.

Last season, the Celtics reached the Eastern Conference Finals but fell short in a tough seven-game series against the Miami Heat.

However, this setback has only fueled their hunger for success and their determination to bring a championship back to Boston.

With Tatum leading the charge, the team is confident in their abilities and has high hopes for the ongoing season.
