In a memorable game against the Hornets on Saturday, Tyrese Haliburton, the talented player from the Indiana Pacers, made NBA history with an extraordinary performance.

Scoring an impressive 25 points and recording six assists in the third quarter, Haliburton became the first player in the play-by-play era (since 1996-97) to achieve such a feat.

The Pacers entered the third quarter trailing the Hornets by a score of 54-46. However, fueled by Haliburton’s incredible performance, they managed to turn the tide of the game.

Haliburton scored 25 points and assisted in six baskets, helping the Pacers take the lead at 96-92 by the end of the third quarter.

During his extraordinary quarter, Haliburton also tied the franchise record set by Jordan Nwora for the most points scored in a single quarter.

His sensational shooting accuracy was on full display as he made an astounding 6 out of 8 three-pointers.

“Haliburton’s third quarter was historic,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. “We needed to back that up with a solid fourth quarter and they threw some hellacious shot making at us. It was some unfortunate situations for us. We have to continue to work to shore things up.”

The Pacers’ shooting percentage underwent a remarkable transformation in the third quarter. After a lackluster shooting performance of 33.3% in the first half, they elevated their game and displayed an astonishing 81% shooting percentage in the third quarter.

Despite Tyrese Haliburton’s incredible performance, the Hornets fought valiantly throughout the game. They had a strong first half, leading by eight points with a score of 54-46.

However, they struggled to maintain their momentum in the face of the Pacers’ relentless efforts. The Hornets, who shot nearly 49% from the field in the first half, experienced a decline in the third quarter, shooting 65% from the field.

In the final quarter, Charlotte’s forward, Williams, displayed excellent scoring prowess, contributing nine points to help the Hornets rally.

However, the Pacers closed the deficit with Buddy Hield’s basket, bringing the score to 125-124 with just 29 seconds left.
