Victor Wembanyama the 7’4” tall is fulfilling all the expectations of a No. 1 overall draft pick already in the six games of his first NBA season, he is the real deal.

The spurs rookie sensation is quickly providing multiple highlight plays in each game with ballhandling, movement, shooting touch, and playmaking.

Wembanyama had an admirable game against the Toronto Raptors, but in the fourth-quarter the Raptors rallied the game into overtime, and emerged with a 123-116 victory.

On Sunday, the Raptors improved their record to 3-4 with a win against the San Antonio Spurs, Wembanyama looked strong on both ends of the court.

After the game, Raptors’ l forward OG Anunoby commented on what it was like playing against the sensation Wembanyama, the number one overall pick in this NFL Draft.

He shared referencing a three-point attempt that he had blocked by the French sensation jokingly after the game, per NBA Canada,

“He’s too tall. He’s way too tall.”

During the third quarter, Toronto’s Anunoby set up for a three-point attempt from the corner, a wide-open shooting opportunity. But Wembanayama’s long arms and foot speed allow him to close in on any shot very quickly.

A shooter cannot put enough arc on his shot to avoid Wembanyama’s fingertips, and Anunoby is no small guard either, as he’s a 6’7” forward.

The 7’4 tall forward was a menace defensively, and NBA fans are amazed by his seemingly effortless shot-blocking abilities.

Notably, Wembanyama dropped 20 points and nine rebounds, shooting 7-16 from the field while connecting on two three-pointers.

As for the Raptors, O.G. Anunoby scored 24 points while hitting a career-high seven three-pointers.
