Sheduer Sanders has obviously learnt more than football from his father Deion, and quickly quashed a potential banana peel question after his team’s loss.
The Buffaloes lost their third straight game, going down 26-19 to Oregon.
After an impressive 3-0 start to their campaign the Colorado team are struggling, but coming against top opposition means a 4-5 season so far is not bad for this young Boulder team.
Sanders was asked after the game if he preferred taking line calls from new offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur or previous line caller Sean Lewis.
“I mean at that point, you’re just asking me a setup question. You just want just a headline question — I’m not even gonna answer that honestly, I can’t even answer that,” Sanders responded.
The Buffs offense was almost non-existent in the first three quarters going for 78 total yards before adding some gloss in the final stage.
The finished the game with 238 offensive yards and went 3-13 on third-down attempts.
The Deion Sanders coached team will be hoping to regain their swagger when they take on the 23rd ranked Arizona.
